Nice to not have to workout today but I was itching to do something. Competition is just around the corner so the focus is more on intensity rather than getting crushed with volume and I totally understand that. I have a lot of big workouts this weekend with 3 workouts on Sat + 3 on Sunday so I’m sure that will be more than enough to give me my fix.
Looking at myself as an athlete I am happy to say that there are less and less things that I am worried about seeing on game day. I’m by no means an awesome runner but I am much more comfortable with it and I have no problem getting after it. My main concern is still heavy deadlifts. I’ve been working on it consistently but haven’t really had to test it yet so I’m just not sure where I stand on it. I have to do Diane at 315lb on Sat morning so that’s gonna be a good test for me.
I’m still on a high from skydiving and I think it’s safe to say that I’m completely addicted to it. I cannot wait to get back up there on Wednesday

6am – 5 eggs, pear + almond butter
11am – turkey jerky + peanut butter
4pm – chicken cobb salad
8pm – burger patty + sweet fries
